Contribute to Columbus Housing Partnership
Columbus Housing Partnership (CHP) is a private, nonprofit organization founded in the belief that a decent and affordable home is the cornerstone of family life and a healthy community. Columbus Housing Partnership provides quality, affordable housing and related services to low to moderate income households in Columbus and the surrounding area.

Since its inception in 1987, Columbus Housing Partnership has developed 4,000 affordable homes which have served 23,000 people. In 2008, Columbus Housing Partnership will serve 11,000 central Ohioans through its affordable housing communities, housing counseling programs and resident services programs.

The average family served by Columbus Housing Partnership is a single mother of two children with an income of $20,000 a year. For many of these families, housing is not enough. You and your corporation can help provide working families with housing, access to education, health and employment programs, and other social services.

  Individual Contributions

The New Founders Society
Robert J. Weiler, a long-time advocate, created The New Founders Society to raise awareness and generate financial support for the mission of Columbus Housing Partnership. Individual financial gifts support the ongoing delivery of Community Building and Housing Counseling programs, which are key components of CHP's holistic approach to affordable housing.

Columbus Housing Partnership Endowment Fund at The Columbus Foundation
As central Ohio grows, the future provision of affordable housing and related services will remain critical to the health and stability of our community. The Endowment Fund ensures the ongoing delivery of Columbus Housing Partnership's mission. Whether you are interested in an individual, family, corporate or estate gift, we can help you design a flexible, innovative, and personal charitable legacy.

  Corporate Contributions

Housing Opportunities
Columbus Housing Partnership has developed more than 4,000 units of affordable housing and is a leader in the revitalization of central city neighborhoods. Your donation of capital support or land can help strengthen ongoing pre-development efforts for affordable homeownership projects.

Housing Counseling
Through provision of HUD-certified homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, credit and budget counseling and financial fitness classes, Columbus Housing Partnership helps 3,000 individuals each year prepare for financial success. Your gift of operating support will help expand the homebuyer education program throughout central Ohio as a preventative front line attack on the emerging foreclosure epidemic.

Resident Programs
Annually, Columbus Housing Partnership partners with more than 40 community agencies to serve 6,000 residents through out-of-school enrichment programs, linkage to social service resources and leadership of neighborhood beautification projects, crime prevention programs and block watches. Your financial support and in-kind donations of books, computer licenses and educational curriculum will enhance ongoing delivery of children's programming. Opportunities also exist for fun and rewarding volunteer experiences for employees on a one time or on-going basis.

For questions regarding your gift, please contact Paul Haggard , Director of Resource Development, at (614) 221-8889, extension 135 or phaggard@chpcolumbus.org.
