 Programs offered
by CHP have improved the quality of life and physical condition of its
communities, addressing the underlying social and economic needs facing
individuals and families within our neighborhoods by linking services
to residents. CHP also focuses on increasing the rate of home ownership
within Franklin County, as home ownership encourages residents to care
for their property and to maintain beautiful neighborhoods. Through a
variety of homebuyer counseling and down payment assistance programs,
CHP has successfully and consistently enabled people to become and remain
homeowners.
CHP provides a wide range of housing opportunities throughout Franklin
County. These include single and multifamily developments, newly constructed
and renovated single-family homes for sale and for rent, and single room
occupancy studios for individuals and families in transition from homelessness
to self-sufficiency.
